Law Enforcement On the Stand Training and Parabon Snapshot: DNA Phenotyping, Acenstry & Kinship Analysis

The focus of the training will be geared toward court room testimony by law enforcement officers. The guest presenter is Caren Cambre, J.D. who has developed a training course titled, "Law Enforcement on the Stand" designed to make law enforcement officers more effective witnesses. Parabon Snapshot DNA will also be on hand and will give a short presentation regarding their service that accurately predicts the physical appearance and ancestry of an unknown person from DNA. It can also determine kinship between DNA samples. The service can aid in generating investigative leads, narrowing suspect lists, and identifying unknown remains. Attendees must be members of the NJHIA.
